The mission of the American Trucking Associations, Inc., is:

• to serve and represent the interests of the trucking industry with one united voice;
• to influence in a positive manner Federal and State governmental actions;
• to advance the trucking industry’s image, efficiency, competitiveness, and profitability;
• to provide educational programs and industry research;
• to promote safety and security on our nation’s highways and among our drivers; and
• to strive for a healthy business environment.

Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association (WMCA)

The Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association is a non-profit trade association, representing the interests of commercial truck users operating within and through Wisconsin.

The Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA) is an international trade association of nearly 1,300 member companies from 43 nations. Members are involved in specialized transportation, machinery moving and erecting, industrial maintenance, millwrighting, crane and rigging operations, manufacturing and rental.

In its simplest form, the SmartWay brand identifies products and services that reduce transportation-related emissions.  However, the impact of the brand is much greater as the SmartWay brand signifies a partnership among government, business and consumers to protect our environment, reduce fuel consumption, and improve our air quality for future generations.
