Transport National drivers travel all 48 States and Canada. Seventy-five percent of all mileage is generated in 21 states east of the Rocky Mountains. Trip duration’s are 1-5 days with West Coast trips 8-11 days. While no trip length can be guaranteed, our operations personnel work diligently to achieve and attain this very important company objective. Eighty-five percent of our business requires specialized equipment, handling and/or over-dimensional permits. Equipment Current Tractor Specifications: Late model mid-roof conventional fleet utilizing Best Pass & Pike Pass. Transport National Drivers operate a fleet of 65 assigned Kenworth and Freightliner tractors pulling a specialized fleet of 200 air ride trailers consisting of flatbed, step-deck, double drop, expandables, detachables, heavy haul, and curtain side units. Tractor base specifications include Cummins/Cat and Mercedes Engines with Eaton auto shift transmissions. Orientation / Training Transport National offers paid orientation and training to qualified individuals.
