Pete Mosher – Company Driver since 2011
As drivers we always hear companies making promises they can’t or won’t keep, such as home time, pay and bonuses. Transport National promises the same things as other companies, but they deliver. They don’t just hand it out to you on a platter, you have to earn it thru hard work and commitment but the home time is there and so is the pay. They work with you to ensure that you have all the opportunities to get what you want. If Transport National promises you something it’s as good as money in the bank. Trucking freight of this size has its own idiosyncrasies, both seen and unforeseen. When I leave with a load, Transport National and I both know and have planned for the seen. In the occasion of an unforeseen popping up the team at Transport National has always been able to help me out whether it be a routing, permit, equipment or personal issues. They always find a fair and rational solution. They have even gone so far as sending out one of the owners on a Saturday to fix my truck, just so I could go home for the weekend. Most of our freight is over-dimensional and all on open deck trailers. This requires a fair amount of work to get down the road safely. Transport National does not veer away from the lines of safety and legality. This may, and often does, require more work on my part, but it sure does pay off knowing that everything is done and done right. The core value at Transport National is integrity. Integrity is defined as: the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. This is the reason I enjoy working for Transport National, there’s nothing better than knowing that you are getting an honest days pay for an honest days work, from honest people.
